FAQs About the Solar Installer Growth System

Below are answers to the practical questions solar and battery installers ask about the system, its implementation, costs and what it is like to work with us.

About the System

  • What is the Solar Installer Growth System?

It is a fully managed system that brings reputation management, Google and AI search visibility, website conversion, call and online enquiry tracking, and an AI Voice Assistant together.

We build it, manage it and continually improve it, while your team concentrates on surveys, installations and customers.

  • Who is the system designed for?

It is designed for established MCS-certified solar and battery installers that deliver a good customer experience, have completed installations they can use as evidence and possess the capacity and ambition to grow.

It is not designed for businesses looking for an instant supply of cheap leads or trying to use marketing to disguise poor service.

  • Is this a lead-generation service?

No. We do not sell shared leads or charge you for individual enquiries.

We strengthen how homeowners find, assess and contact your own business. The calls and online enquiries generated come directly to you, while the tracking helps identify which marketing activities produced them.

  • Is everything included within one package?

Yes. The essential components are provided as one connected package.

We do not remove tracking, reputation management or other important elements to create cheaper versions. Disconnecting those components would weaken the system and make its commercial impact harder to measure.

  • Can we continue using paid advertising or purchased leads?

Yes. The system is not opposed to advertising or external lead providers.

It strengthens the foundations around those activities and helps you track the calls and online enquiries they produce. This gives you better evidence for deciding which sources deserve further investment.

Getting Started and Implementation

  • What happens during the first 90 days?

We establish your starting position, configure the tracking and AI Voice Assistant, review your reputation and visibility, and identify priority website improvements.

We then launch the agreed processes, begin measuring enquiries and use the evidence collected to guide the next improvements.

  • What will you need from us during setup?

We normally require access to the relevant website and Google Analytics. We also need accurate company information, service areas, customer evidence and details of your current enquiry-handling process.

We explain what is needed and guide you through providing access securely.

  • How much involvement will our team need?

Your involvement is greatest during onboarding, when we need information, access and approvals.

Once the system is operating, your team follows a small number of agreed steps, such as providing suitable customer and project information and responding promptly to genuine enquiries. We manage the ongoing implementation, monitoring and improvement.

  • Will we need a new website?

Not necessarily. In many cases, improving priority pages, customer proof, messaging and calls to action is more commercially sensible than rebuilding the entire website.

If your existing website genuinely prevents the system from working effectively, we will explain the problems and available options before recommending additional work.

  • How quickly should we expect progress?

Tracking, corrected business information and certain website improvements can begin working relatively quickly.

Review growth, local visibility and online authority develop over a longer period. The first 90 days establish the system and reliable measurement, after which we build on what the evidence shows.

Calls, Enquiries and the AI Voice Assistant

  • How does call tracking work?

We configure trackable telephone numbers that help connect incoming calls with the activity that generated them.

Calls still reach your business as normal, but the system provides clearer evidence of which marketing sources are producing genuine opportunities.

  • What happens when our team cannot answer a call?

The AI Voice Assistant can answer instead of allowing the caller to reach voicemail.

It speaks with the homeowner, captures their contact details and reason for calling, and passes the information to your team for follow-up. This helps prevent potential opportunities from being lost when your team is busy, on-site or unavailable. No more missed enquiries.

  • Does the AI Voice Assistant replace our team?

No. It supports your team when they cannot answer.

Its role is to provide an immediate response, collect the necessary information and help your team follow up. Your team remains responsible for advising the homeowner, arranging surveys and progressing the opportunity.

  • Can the system track online enquiries as well as calls?

Yes. We configure online enquiry routes and measurement so submissions can be connected with the activity that produced them wherever the available technology allows.

This gives you a more complete view of the calls and online enquiries entering your business.

  • What counts as a qualifying AI Voice Assistant call?

A Voice Assistant call counts when it lasts for more than 15 seconds.

Calls lasting more than 15 seconds count regardless of whether they are genuine enquiries, spam calls, wrong numbers or abandoned calls. Calls lasting 15 seconds or less do not count towards the allowance.

  • Are call minutes and Voice Assistant calls measured together?

    No. They are separate allowances.

AI Voice Assistant calls do not consume any of the tracked call-minute allowance. Both allowances reset on the first day of each month, and unused allowances do not roll over.

Google, Reviews and AI Search

  • How do you help us generate more customer reviews?

We establish a consistent process for requesting genuine feedback from real customers and displaying that evidence where future homeowners can see it.

We do not purchase reviews, create false feedback or attempt to manipulate your rating.

  • What happens if a customer leaves negative feedback?

The purpose of the process is to collect genuine feedback, not manufacture a perfect rating.

Constructive criticism can identify problems that need addressing, while a professional response can demonstrate that your business listens and takes customer service seriously.

  • How do you improve our Google visibility?

We improve the accuracy, relevance and consistency of the information surrounding your business. We also strengthen local content, customer evidence and other signals that help Google understand your services and the areas you cover.

  • How do you improve our visibility in AI search?

We strengthen the quality, consistency and authority of the information available about your business online.

This helps AI platforms understand who you are, what you offer, where you operate and why your business may be relevant when homeowners research solar and battery installers.

  • Can you guarantee Google rankings or AI recommendations?

No credible provider can guarantee a particular Google position or promise that an AI platform will recommend your business.

We improve the factors within our reasonable control and monitor the results, but the final rankings and recommendations are determined by the individual platforms.

Investment and Agreement

  • How much does the system cost?

The complete Solar Installer Growth System costs £1,250 plus VAT per month, with an initial six-month commitment.

The minimum initial investment is therefore £7,500 plus VAT, excluding any usage above the included monthly allowances.

After the initial 6 months, it's a month-to-month rolling contract. You choose to pay us by choice.

  • Is there a setup fee?

There is no separate setup fee for the first five suitable founding installers.

Any future setup charge will be explained before an agreement is entered into. No additional setup work will be added without your prior knowledge and agreement.

  • Are there any additional usage charges?

    The monthly package includes:

    500 tracked call minutes

50 qualifying AI Voice Assistant calls

Additional tracked call minutes cost 7.5p plus VAT per minute. Additional Voice Assistant calls cost £1 plus VAT per qualifying call.

Call minutes are rounded up to the next whole minute. Additional usage is itemised and invoiced separately during the following month.

  • Do unused allowances carry over?

No. Both allowances reset on the first day of each month, and unused call minutes or Voice Assistant calls do not carry over.

  • Do you guarantee a certain number of enquiries or installations?

No. Results are also affected by local demand, competition, pricing, availability, response times and your sales process.

Promising a particular number of enquiries or installations without controlling those factors would be dishonest. We measure what the system produces and continually improve the areas within our control.

  • How long is the initial agreement?

The initial commitment is six months. This gives us sufficient time to build the system, establish reliable measurement and develop the reputation and visibility elements that require consistent work.

The continuation and notice terms applying after the initial period will be stated clearly in your agreement before you proceed.

Working With Us

  • Can you work alongside our existing agency or marketing team?

Yes, provided responsibilities can be clearly separated.

We can work alongside an existing website provider, advertising agency or internal marketing person. We agree responsibilities at the beginning to prevent duplicated work and unnecessary disruption.

  • How will we know what is working?

We track calls and online enquiries rather than relying solely on clicks, traffic or impressions.

We report on the activity completed, the genuine opportunities entering the business and the improvements that should be prioritised next.

  • Who owns our accounts, content and enquiry data?

You retain ownership of your core business accounts, website, approved content, customer data and source materials.

We use the access needed to manage the system without taking ownership of those assets. Any software-dependent access and data-export arrangements are explained before work begins.

  • Will you work with another installer in our area?

We work with only one solar and battery installer within an agreed geographical area.

The territory, service coverage and any potential overlap are discussed and confirmed before you become a client.

  • What happens if we decide to stop working together?

Your core business accounts, approved content and customer data remain yours.

We provide an appropriate handover of the elements covered by the agreement. Any continuing software access, data exports and notice requirements will be explained clearly before the service begins.

  • What is the next step if we are interested?

Book a 25-minute consultation. We will discuss your current position, explain how the system would fit around your business and determine whether there is a suitable geographical area available.

There is no obligation to proceed.

Case Studies by Outcome

Select an outcome to see how we approached it - and what changed for the business.

Local Service Business, Mid-Size Market

A 12-year-old HVAC company generating $2.1M annually had plateaued. Word-of-mouth had dried up and paid ads were eating 18% of revenue without predictable return.

We restructured their referral system, rebuilt their Google Business presence, and implemented a reactivation sequence for dormant customers — zero new ad spend.

+34% new customer inquiries in 90 days. Cost per acquisition dropped by 41%.

Regional Retail Operation

A family-owned hardware chain (3 locations) was losing foot traffic to big-box competitors and struggling to convert online searches to in-store visits.

We introduced a local content strategy, optimized their listings for 'near me' intent, and created a loyalty capture system that turned one-time buyers into repeat visitors.

+28% in-store visits from organic search. Repeat purchase rate up 19% within 6 months.

What Our Clients Say

Outcomes are measurable. Trust is earned in the details. Here's how the business owners we work with describe the experience.

David R. — Owner, HVAC & Mechanical Services

"We'd been running the same Google Ads for two years. In four months, they found us more customers — from our existing base — than paid search had in the last year. I didn't add a dollar to my ad budget."

Sarah M. — Principal, Boutique Accounting Firm

"My margins were getting squeezed and I didn't know where to start. They identified two services I was practically giving away and helped me reprice and reposition them. Profit per job is up meaningfully."

James T. — Founder, Multi-Location Wellness Group

"I was spending half my week managing a marketing patchwork. Now it runs on a system. I check one dashboard, make one call a month with their team, and the results are better than before."
